We take the safety and security of our staff, vendors and guests seriously.
Swingathon is operated by professionals who work to ensure your visit runs smoothly
and guests’ enjoy their time with us.
To do this, we have a few rules, which must be followed:
Upon entry.
IDENTIFICATION CHECKS
For everyone’s safety, ID is required for entry to the festival.
This should match the name on your ticket:
ID types accepted:

● Citizen Card
● Uniformed services
CHECK POINTS for entry and exit
You are requested to stay within the festival grounds for the duration of your stay. This is
to ensure safety and keep the site secure.
You are of course allowed to leave in an emergency. Running out of booze and fags
does not class as an emergency!
If you do need to leave the site, please do see a member of staff first.
ALCOHOL / DRUGS POLICY
1. Alcohol
You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol into the arenas, but you may bring your
own for your perusal in your camping space.
We have various vendors/ bars who are reasonably priced.
We do monitor behaviour and we reserve the right to cap alcohol sales if deemed
necessary.
2. Drugs
We have a zero tolerance approach when it comes to drugs*. Anyone found with any
substance will be asked to leave immediately and/or the relevant authorities informed.**
*Security have the right to conduct random bag checks upon entry and throughout the
duration of your visit

GENERAL BEHAVIOURS
As an adult festival, we expect just that – adult behaviour, although we do like a lot of
fun, we do have rules to keep it that way!
1. Festival standards of community
As all the lifestyle knows, our primary rule is NO means NO. This includes following,
grabbing and pestering.
We take this as seriously!
You WILL be removed immediately if you display these behaviours. NO questions
asked!
2. Aggression or violence
We expect our guests to treat one another with respect.
Security is on hand at all times to ensure safety. Anyone displaying aggressive or
violent behaviours towards another guest or others, will be removed from the festival
immediately.
Goes without saying, just don’t do it and we will all get on just fine.
FIRST AID AND WELFARE
First Aid areas are signposted and qualified First Aiders are on site 247 in case of an
emergency.
You will be shown the First Aid areas when you arrive.
BBQs and FIRE PITS
BBQs and fire pits must be raised from the ground.
WASTE

Waste bins are placed all around the festival. Please ensure you use them and
be respectful to those cleaning after you

Chemical toilets must be disposed of in the correct places and not down the
portable toilets
SMOKING
Smoking is of course allowed, but to help us maintain the cleanliness of the festival, we
request you use the supplied ashtrays at all times.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography and mobile phones are not permitted anywhere in the festival without prior
permission. You are allowed to use phones in your private camping areas
1.All sales are final, no refunds are offered unless the event is cancelled.
2. Tickets are not transferable, only the named guest on the ticket may enter.
3. ID must be provided, the organisers reserve the right to deny entry.
4. Every purchase is verified before confirmation is sent.
5. The “Couples” ticket is intended to be purely for legitimate couples only. And purchases of these will be verified also and you will be expected to have a couples profile on Fabswingers, SpicyMatch, Pineapple etc. Friends are not considered a couple and will not be eligible to purchase a couples ticket.
Here at Swingathon we take the safety, security and privacy of our members VERY seriously. With this in mind we must verify every single attendee. We insist that each attendee are active within the lifestyle, this ensures that all attendees have a deep understanding of what the festival is about, and maintains that security that we are so conscious of.
